Auto Mechanics Workshop – February 13, 2023
The Automobile Mechanics department of the Laurier Macdonald Career Centre will be hosting a virtual online workshop on CAN Bus Training on February 13, 2023 from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Animator: Mr. Al Santini from Consulab
General Objective: The training session will provide a virtual experience with the MP-1918-1S CAN BUS MULTIPLEX TRAINER and offer insights into the latest developments in CAN Bus Multiplexing. Teachers will have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with Mr. Santini, who will share his expertise and knowledge. Don’t miss this chance to enhance your professional development and stay ahead of the curve in automotive technology.
Specific Objective: Participants will learn how to use the Multiplex Trainer to teach students by allowing them to develop case studies to troubleshoot CAN Bus systems.
Activity Content: Mr. Al Santini from Consulab, a leading expert in the field of CAN Bus technology and the author for the MP-1918 training manual, will conduct an online CAN Bus training session using the Multiplex trainer.
Target Group: Automobile Mechanics Teachers
Location: Online virtual training using Microsoft Teams. A link will be provided to all registered participants.

If you are interested in the training but unable to attend the live session, you may still register and a link will be provided to you to view the recording of the workshop. Please indicate “Recording” on the registration form.
Note: Save the date! A second session will take place in person on May 23, 2023 from 8:30am to 3:30pm to include CAN Bus as well as ABS Brake Systems, the cutaway hybrid engine and drive train, and the SRS system trainers.
